Who we are

BarnBuilder is a product of BrainIT Consulting, based in Rabun County, Georgia, USA. When these terms say we, us, or our, that is who we mean. When they say you, they mean the person or business using BarnBuilder.

BarnBuilder is operated from the United States and is intended for businesses in the United States. We do not currently offer it to customers in the European Union or the United Kingdom, because doing that properly means data protection commitments we are not yet set up to make.

What BarnBuilder does

BarnBuilder interviews you about your business, writes you a plain-language proposal, and builds a demo app dressed in your colors. Paid plans keep your demo live, add features, and can make it a real application. The interview, the proposal, and a demo build are free.

Demos use sample data and exist to show you what your app would feel like. They are not the finished product. A demo is deployed to a public web address with no sign-in, so treat it as public: do not put real customer records or anything confidential into one. We may reset, rebuild, or take a demo down, and unclaimed guest raises that never reached a live demo may be deleted after 90 days without activity. A guest raise abandoned on the first question or two, with almost nothing in it, may be deleted after 14 days.

How your app gets built

AI writes your proposal rewrite and your app's code. To do that, we send what you told us in the interview to AI providers we do not run ourselves (today Anthropic, xAI, and Moonshot AI, reached through the Vercel AI Gateway), and we run the build in a Vercel Sandbox. We may add or change providers as the product improves, and we update the Privacy Policy when we do. That policy spells out exactly what goes where. Using BarnBuilder means you are alright with that.

AI-written code is not perfect. We check that a build installs and runs before we hand it to you, but we cannot promise it is free of mistakes, and we do not promise any particular feature, result, or timeline from a given build. If a build comes out wrong, tell us and we will look at it.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself and give us accurate information. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be able to form a binding contract to use paid plans.

Archive is the reversible in-app control for a raise. It hides the raise and switches off its demo link, but it does not erase the raise. Permanent raise deletion and account closure are handled by request through support@dreamforgeworld.com; there is no self-service hard deletion in the app.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans bill monthly through Stripe, in US dollars, at the price shown when you subscribed. You can change your plan or cancel any month from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, so you keep your plan until then. We do not sell credits.

We do not refund part of a month you have already started. If something goes wrong in your first month, write to us and we will make it right; we would rather fix it or refund you than have you feel stung.

While the launch offer lasts, a paid plan is charged at its launch rate, and that rate stays locked for as long as that subscription stays active. If you cancel and later start a new subscription, it is priced at the rate offered then. The Founding Builder program is the Real plan specifically, offered after a production-fit conversation rather than bought in one click. Spots are limited and we can close the offer at any time.

Once your raise is up we may ask you for a short testimonial. That is a request and not a condition: your rate stays locked whether or not you give us one.

Heavy usage means outside services your app consumes on your behalf, such as AI beyond your plan's included features, text messages, or bulk email. Every plan covers an included amount of that raw cost each calendar month: $5 on Free and Demo, $10 on Live, $20 on Real. Anything above your plan's allowance appears on your invoice at cost plus 20 percent, listed line by line in dollars. Under it, it is simply covered by your plan.

Usage above your plan's allowance is added to your Stripe invoice, itemized in dollars.

Making it real, and what is included

Making your demo real is consultant-led work, not something a subscription performs on its own. Before it starts, we agree a written production scope with you: the workflow, the screens, the data, the sign-in, and the domain that make up the first release. That written scope is what we are agreeing to build. Anything not in it is a change request, not an omission.

For an accepted Founding Builder, that first release includes up to 10 hours of hands-on implementation time from Emile, normally valued at $600, and your first 30 days live at no charge. The 30 days begin when the production app is accepted or goes live, not while it is still being built. The included hours are for consulting, custom logic, data work, integration work, testing, and launch help; they expire 30 days after kickoff unless the delay is ours, and they have no cash value if unused.

One honest detail about that free month. Your subscription bills from the day you check out, and the app does not track your go-live date for you. We apply the free 30 days by hand, as a credit on your invoice once the app is live. If you are ever charged for a month that should have been free, tell us and we will put it right.

If new requests or unexpected complexity would take the work past the agreed scope or the included hours, we give you a written estimate first, and no billable work starts until you approve it. Additional work is billed at $60 per hour with a stated cap, or at a fixed price we agree up front. We tell you how the included time was spent if you ask.

If the delivered app does not do what the approved scope said, that is a correction and we fix it at no charge. A new workflow, integration, user role, report, or a substantial redesign is new work, quoted before it begins. Your monthly plan keeps the approved app running and supported; it does not include unlimited custom development.

This part needs you too. We need timely answers, the access and data we agreed on, and decisions when we ask for them. If we are waiting on you, the timeline moves.

Founding Builders agree to give us candid feedback and, after a successful launch, to a reasonable reference conversation or case study. Candid means honest, including when it is critical. A positive testimonial is never required, and we ask your permission in writing before using your name, logo, screenshots, or results anywhere public.

Your content and ours

What you tell us in the interview, and your business's data, belong to you. You give us permission to use them to build and run your app, which includes sending them to the AI providers and hosting services listed in our Privacy Policy.

The app we build is yours to use for as long as your plan is active, along with your name, your words, and your brand in it. What stays ours is the machinery underneath: the BarnBuilder platform, the shell templates every app is built from, and their code and designs. Because your app is built from one of those templates, we do not hand over its source code today. If you cancel, your demo goes offline and your plan's features stop, so tell us before you go if you need a copy of your data and we will get it to you.

If you give us a testimonial, you are giving us permission to show it on the site under the name you chose. We review testimonials before they appear, and you can ask us to take yours down.

Do not use BarnBuilder for anything unlawful, harmful, or deceptive, and do not try to break or overload the service. We can suspend accounts that do.

The honest fine print

BarnBuilder is provided as is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot promise it will never be down or bug-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these terms as the product grows. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA.
